Right now, the garden series is my signature.  I connect with nature’s brilliance by painting en plein air.  Immersing myself creates a pure, unadulterated focus.  Light changes.  Shadows deepen colors.  Problems arise.  I compose the arrangement by incorporating fresh views, color, and imaginary forms.  Finishing is knowing my practice strengthens my process.
